This Saturday's top of the table clash against Chosen Hill has just become even BIGGER.
The Gloucestershire RFU officials have today confirmed that it will be a double header for the Western Counties League points and a chance to sit atop the table ASWELL as the Gloucester Cup Final!

After last seasons struggles there is a definite feel good factor returning to the club which will be further buoyed by an early season cup final and a chance to further progress in the Intermediate Competition.

Avonmouth last week had a real test of character in their game v Stroud eventually overcoming the opposition 22-14 with a dominant set piece display. This Saturdays visitors overcame fairly local opposition Cirencester to earn their place in the final.

Although we are unable to select wing Billy Reynolds and centre Elliot Nightingale but are delighted to welcome back after a weeks lay off Tim Walker, Andy Taylor, Curtis Dash, Ben Souch, Sean Palmer and the giant figure of Luke Sharp.

This Saturdays game will be 2.30 KO NOT 3.00 as usual
