Dan Lee joined Avonmouth OB's from local rivals Dings Crusaders in 2011 and has played a huge part in the clubs recent success in gaining promotion from South West 1 (West) with an away win over Salisbury RFC & also winning the Bristol Combination Cup after beating Thornbury RFC at Bristol's Memorial Stadium.
Nicknamed "Bruce" by his team mates, Dan has taken over the captaincy from Liam Poole after the disappointing news that "Pooler" had to hang up his boots due to sustaining a neck injury at the end of last season. Dan being the very likeable character he is, has 100% backing from the lads and is very much looking forward to getting the season underway.

George & Jerry have openly said "Our mission statement is to bring back some older players and help develop younger talent, to put a side out every week and fully support the 1st and 2nd XV in building a winning season".
