As always our annual dinner and dance went down a treat with all enjoying the evening. Chairman Ted Britton & Headcoach Dan Cox did well to not get any spuds thrown in their direction during the speeches, partly because of the seating arrangement and partly because everyone had drank enough wine to sink a ship hindering their aim.
Club Captain Craig Britton gave a well rounded speech filled with terrible jokes emphasising the importance of our mini/junior section and how proud it had made him last week to present them with their medals. 'The future of the club looks bright and that is down to a lot of peoples hard work over the years..' he had said.
Craig thanked many for the efforts over the season while he was club captain before explaining his need to step down from the role due to work and family commitments.

'While handing out our youngsters medals it brought back memories for me as a youth at the club. My dream wasn't to play professional rugby or play for England, my boy hood dream was to play with my friends and captain the club that i love. Its been a huge honour to do that'.
