On the 22nd May 2018 my brother Chris and I are starting our 9 day hike along the entire length of Hadrian's wall for charity to raise money for Cancer Research in honour of our father Steve Adams who passed away due to cancer on the 23rd November 2011 at the age of 57.

The Hadrian's Wall Path is a long distance footpath in the north of England spanning the entire length of the most famous of all the frontiers of the Roman Empire, Hadrian’s Wall was made a World Heritage Site in 1987, it became the 15th National Trail in 2003. It runs for 84 mi (135 km), from Bowness-on-Solway on the west coast of England to Wallsend on the east coast of England. Hadrian’s Wall was the north-west frontier of the Roman empire for nearly 300 years. It was built by the Roman army on the orders of the emperor Hadrian following his visit to Britain in AD 122.
