The Media Team caught up last night with new manager Scott Reynolds just ahead of pre season training which starts next week

Scott gave us an update on how things are progressing.

"It's been a busy couple of weeks since my appointment, including a holiday in the USA which meant some conversations at strange times of the day, but things are really progressing well. My backroom staff is almost complete but we should be adding a physio this week and I've had some really positive conversations with players and the squad should start to take shape as early as next week when our first batch of signings will be announced.

We have our first pre season session on 26th June and have already targeted a number of players both familiar to fans and also some that are new to the club. We have also asked our current Under 18s to join us but these are open trials so all players are welcome.

Weekday sessions will run from 7.15pm to 9pm at Haywood Way, we will also train on Saturday's 1pm - 3pm assuming there are no pre season games planned. The current game schedule can be found HERE

Another really positive area is the off field activity since my arrival. Everyone is pulling in the same direction and we all have one aim and that is to make the team and the club competitive and to enjoy the season. Everyone is working together with regards to sponsorship and activity around the ground moving the club forward.

One change that the fans will see is the erection of scaffolding as the club is going to film all the home games which will then be made available on the clubs You Tube Channel - Aylesbury FC TV. We will use this footage as part of our game preparation and planning, something I want to implement as we try and introduce more technology and professionalism into our planning.

Don't forget the England game is being shown on the big screen at the club this Sunday so if you're at a loose end come down, have a beer and a chat. I'd love to see as many of you as possible"
