Since Dr Ludwig Guttmann started his Festival of Sport at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in 1948, the Paralympic movement has come a long way.

This talk will investigate the story of the development of the movement up to the forthcoming games in London 2012.

Laura Cotton project manages 'Mandeville Legacy', a programme designed to celebrate Buckinghamshire as the birthplace of the Paralympic movement.
