U9 update - for Sunday 1st May

2 years ago By Steve Ward

Hi All,

It's going to be busy at the clubhouse Sunday morning the plan is for us to be in the clubhouse 10:00 to 10:15.

Please get there 09:30 to 10:00, there is no rugby session as such but the children can have a play outside before we go in.

The children will need to be in an ARFC top but apart from that they where pretty much what they like.

There seems to be lots of other activities going on this weekend, so for the children who are not going to be there a couple of notes :-

1.Trophies - I'll keep the trophies, please get in touch and we can arrange collection, delivery etc.

2.Players Player - this one we need to be a little more discrete. One of the awards is the "players player" this is where each player chooses there best player of the session. Please Don't respond to this if the player will be there on Sunday as we will ask the players attending. Can you ask each player (that won't be there on Sunday) who they think there best player is, it would be great if they don't discuss with there pals. Then send me a quick email before the end of the day Saturday.

On another note . . . Touch Rugby!

Over the summer ARFC put on a Touch Rugby tournament.

We normally enter a team of parents and coaches, it's a Wednesday night you don't have to commit to every week.

Touch is no contact form of rugby, a bit like tag . . . . but without the tags :0).

If you want to give it ago, please reply, all abilities and experience welcome.
