Instructions for using this website to confirm your availibility to play this wonderful game we call rugby !

Here is a simple walkthrough of how to confirm your availability on our website.

Firstly, please ensure you register as a member. Your membership will have to be authorised by one of the website administrators, but that should be done fairly quickly. In the meantime, if you want to communicate you are available, or ask for details about a match, please text us on 07521 427225.

Once you are registered, and accepted by an administrator, click on PLAYER AVAILIBILITY on the grey tab slightly right of centre, just below the red bar containing HOME/NEWS.EVENTS, etc.

You should then be presented with a screen showing all upcoming games that have had the fixture confirmed. This will not be a complete list, and you will notice there are not fixtures for every week. That does not mean we won’t have games every week, just that the friendly fixtures tend to be confirmed only around 4-7 days before the date of the match.

The list of games will be set depending on how you registered. Here is an example from my availability screen….

Mark Corley - 1st XV - Player AvailabilityBy default we only show fixtures for your primary team (Aylestone Athletic RFC 1st XV). Click here to include more teams.

Below this would be listed all the games available to a 1st team player. If you are available to play for other teams (so for me I would include 2nd XV & 3rd XV fixtures as well) you click the underlined text (in bold here cos I can't see how to underline it...sigh!) saying “Click here to include more teams”.
Then add ticks to the boxes of the teams relevant to you in the small boxes names 1sts, 2nds, 3rds , and Vets.

Once you have clicked the appropriate boxes, CLICK the black SAVE box.
Then look at the fixture list. Across the top are listed Date, Team, Home, Away, and Kick off. There are three “Traffic light” symbols for you to indicate if you are available, unavailable, or not sure.
If you look below these symbols you will see corresponding grey circle. Click in the appropriate circle to indicate your availability for each future match, and you can add comments in the box to the right of the availability circles. Once you have entered the information you want to, CLICK THE BLACK SAVE BUTTON. If you don’t you will have to redo the whole process.

I think that covers it. If you have questions about it, or if you spot any errors in these instructions, please either enter a comment on the website forum, on the comments here, or text the club mobile on 07521 427225.

Many thanks,
Mark Corley - Club Judge
