Badshot Lea were looking to gain revenge over their local rivals Farnham Town for the 5-1 defeat earlier in the season

Badshot Lea started the stronger of the two teams in this fixture. In didn't take them long and they soon took the lead after only two minutes. A corner taken by Roberts on the right found the head of Millard and managed to find the net against his old club.
Badshot Lea then pushed forward and soon doubled the lead. A ball into the box saw Mark Peters spin and hit a shot into the roof of the net.
Farnham gradually started to get a foothold in the match and on the stroke of half time they had reduced the deficit. Some good work saw the ball played through to Matt Bunyan and he finished well giving Foster no chance in the Badshot Lea goal.
Badshot Lea came out for the second half and soon took the game to their visitors and Adam Prentice made it 3-1 with a smart finish with his head. Mark Peters should then have put the game out of sight but pulled his shot wide when he probably should have done better.
Farnham then pulled a goal back when Badshot Lea failed to clear their lines with Cav Ferris finishing well.
Badshot Lea still looked in control but were wasteful with possession and as the game entered injury time they gave the ball away again. Farnham broke quickly and the ball fell to the feet of Mark Corbett and he made no mistake to give his side a point. Credit to Farnham as they kept going to the final whistle and this point will stand them in good stead for the coming weeks.
Next up for Badshot Lea is the re-arranged EL Records Premier Challenge Cup v Sandhurst Town on Tuesday 7.30pm KO
