Centenary Celebrations
100 Years of rugby at Baildon
As this is our Centenary year various events are being planned,the first of which in what will be the start of our 100th season will be a Centenary Dinner, which will be held at the club on Saturday 15 September 2012. Arrangements are currently being finalised and further info will follow shortly. As an ex player of BAILDON COLTS 1964 - 66 and also a regular First Team Player after that, Vice Captain for two years under Mike Farrar and then Captain
after that I would be grateful if you could reserve me 2 tickets for my son and myself. I played from 1966 until about 1971 in the first team.
People who know me are Philip Francis, Harry Omerod, Harry Ward, Bull Taylor, David Mitchell (I played with his dad!), Paul Crooks, Simon Dibb, Geoff Thompson,
Alan Wrightson, Keith Turner, Hugh Lambert (Ex Yorkshire President) and many others.
I regularly meet up with the baildon team whenever they play around Hull area where I live and look forward to meeting old friends when they play Hessle RUFC very soon. I also
travelled over to the Malt Shovel to meet up with old friends at a recent reunion.
