Lions test for Town in County Cup

The 1st Team will travel to London Lions in the opening round of this season's Herts Senior Centenary Trophy on Saturday 13th October.

Scott Grant's men will hoping to fare better than their last meeting in this competition with Lions. Just under two seasons ago, Town were given a 5-0 drubbing by the Arkley-based club.

If the Reds are fortunate to see off their Spartan South Midlands League opponents, they will host Wormley Rovers or Tring Corinthians in Round Two.

As for the Reserves, following their run to the Quarter-Final of the Intermediate Cup last season, they have received a bye into Round Two of the competition. They will host the winners of an all-Herts Senior County League Division One clash between Evergreen and AFC Hatfield at the North Herts Arena on Saturday 17th November.

The victors of the Round Two tie will travel to Bushey Rangers or Mill End Sports Reserves in the next round.

The A Team's Junior Cup campaign starts on Saturday 6th October when they travel to Queens School in Bushey to take on Oxhey. Should Richard Poleszuk side progress, they will be at home to either Mangrove or AC Finchley.
