As previously reported, our First XV embark on their quest for promotion to the AIL on Saturday next when they travel to Clonmel to take on the home side at 2.30pm. The task will be a tough one as Clonmel have been competing at this level for a number of seasons, but everyone in Ballina RFC is relishing the opportunity.
The second phase of the series will have Ulster champions, Omagh, coming to Heffernan Park to take on our men on Saturday, April 8th at 2.30pm. This is a match where home support was never more important. We are hereby sending out the message - we need your support all along the sidelines and everyone must play their part in the AIL quest.
The final match in the series takes place in Heffernan Park on Saturday, April 22nd when Malahide come calling at 2.30pm. If previous results have fallen our way then this match could be a very historic encounter.
