Christmas Jumper Day 2018!

1 month ago By Ruth Hornby

No match but Brig fans came together for the annual charity Christmas jumper day.

The 2018 Christmas Jumper day was another success for Brig.

Despite the afternoon's game being postponed due to Lancaster's FA Trophy match, Brig fans still turned out in the clubhouse for the annual festive get together.

There was no entertainment on the pitch, but fans were treated a fantastic afternoon of entertainment from guitarist and singer Nick Spencer.

This year's chosen charity was the food bank appeal organised by Left In Preston, which was collecting donations to stock food banks in the Preston and South Ribble over the festive season.

Throughout December, Brig fans and members of the local community made donations for the appeal and hundreds of items were donated. Both the club and Left in Preston were amazed by the response.

More donations coming in during 'Jumper Day'

Thank you to everyone who donated to the food bank appeal and joined us for 'Jumper Day'.
