Winger becomes honorary life member of Bamber Bridge FC.

Alistair Waddecar has been made an honorary life member of Bamber Bridge FC in recognition of making over 400 appearances for Bamber Bridge FC.

At a presentation in the clubhouse after Saturday's 2-2 draw against Nantwich, in which he scored both Brig goals, Ali was presented with honorary life membership of the club by Chairman Fran Doyle.

As part of the celebration, Ali was also presented with a photo book documenting his Brig career to date.

The 28 year old winger joined Brig in the summer of 2010, and made his first full league appearance for Brig at Irongate against Cammel Laird on 4 September in the Evo-Stik Division 1 North.

2018 has been a memorable year for Ali. Not only did he make his 400th Brig appearance away at Scarborough Athletic on 13 October, in June 2018 he was named number 11 in the Evo-Stik League's top 50 players of all time as part of the league's 50th anniversary celebrations.

Ali is only the second player to reach 400 appearances. He can now set his sights on breaking the club record, currently held by Dave Leaver, of over 450 starts!

Congratulations on your award, Ali!
