Last week's trip to Trafford saw Chris Marlow make his 300th first team appearance for Bamber Bridge.

To mark the occasion, Neil Crowe BBFC Director of Football, presented Chris with bottle of champagne in front of home fans before yesterday's game against Ramsbottom.

A firm favourite at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium, Chris, known to fans as 'Goose', joined Bamber Bridge during the 2008-09 season from North West Counties side Daisy Hill and he
made his Brig debut at Irongate on the 4th April 2009 against Harrogate Railway Athletic.

On the milestone, Bamber Bridge manager, Neil Reynolds said:

"Congratulations to Chris Marlow. This is an unbelievable achievement. His dedication and loyalty to one football club is unquestionable.... I am hoping that he can reach 400. Chris’s fitness levels and ability to complete at this level suggests that he will continue to break records. I really enjoy working with him, he is a brigger through and through. Go on the Goose"

Chris now joins an elite list of Bamber Bridge players who have made 300+ appearances for the club.

Congratulations Goose!
