Bamber Bridge captain Matthew Lawlor has been named in the 'Evo-Stik North Team of The Year 2017/18' as part of the Northern Premier League's 2018 Player of the Year Awards.

Matthew and his fellow 'team of the year' team mates we presented with their awards as part at the NPL Awards Dinner held on Sunday evening in Barnsley.

It was a double celebration for Matthew as along with Brig team mate Alistair Waddecar, he has also been named in the Northern Premier League 'Top 100 Players' poll which has been complied as part of the 50th Anniversary of the league. The final rankings in this poll are being announced in at the League AGM dinner in June.
