A look ahead to Tuesday's FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round replay.

It's a tough game against tough opposition.

Bamber Bridge host Cleethorpes Town in the FA Cup Second Qualifying Round replay on Tuesday night, after a thrilling 3-3 draw on Saturday afternoon.

Brig trailed with fifteen minutes to go, but two goals in five minutes with 10 to play ensured Neil Reynolds’ side would be in the hat for Monday’s highly anticipated draw.

After watching his team yet again come back from the dead, Reynolds was over-the-moon with the result.

“They don’t know when they’re beaten,” said Reno. “It’s that togetherness and that never-say-die attitude that we’ve got.

“You could see it when we scored the second and on another day we could’ve gone on to win it.

“But I’m delighted and really proud, we’re in the hat for Monday and we’ll give everything we’ve got to improve our performance on Tuesday night.

It was August player of the month Brad Carsley that stole the show on Saturday, with a fantastic hat-trick in North East Lincolnshire to keep Brig in the competition.

“We know Brad Carsley scores goals,” Reno said. “People are worried whether he’ll score as many this season, I’m not worried at all.

“He’s shown how good he is with his hat-trick & the pleasing thing for Brad has been his performances, which have been brilliant.

“Brad will score goals for Bamber Bridge, but it’s his overall game that has been the most pleasing for me.”

Reno knows his side will have to be at their maximum to progress, in a game against solid opponents.

“It’s a tough game against tough opposition,” insisted Reno. “They’ve got a style of play that doesn’t suit everybody, but it’s a style that’s effective.

“They have good players so we’re going to have to be better on Tuesday night than we were on Saturday & we’re going to have to nullify their threat.

“But it’s at our ground and we don’t tend to lose at home, so we’ll take all our confidence from the weekend and hopefully we’ll do enough and we will be in the next round.”

Neil Reynolds also confirmed that both goalkeepers, Danny Roccia & Lloyd Rigby will undergo fitness tests on Monday night.

Chris Marlow will also have a fitness test, whilst Adam Dodd, Macauley Wilson and Regan Linney still remain side-lined.
