Biography
In his third spell at Irongate. Matt spent the first six years of his football career at Wigan Athletic before moving on to North West Counties League Second Division side Ashton Town at the start of the 2005-06 season. Joined the ranks at Irongate twelve months later. Made his Bamber Bridge debut on the 11th September 2007 at Irongate against Radcliffe Borough in the First Division North. Spent a short time in America at the beginning of the 2008-09 season playing for Rio Grande University before rejoining Bamber Bridge in January 2009. Joined AFC Fylde at the start of the 2009-10 season and remained at Kellamergh Park for two seasons before retuning to Bamber Bridge at the beginning of the 2011-12 campaign.
