Good tagging and vigorous protection of their try line provided Banbury with plenty of turnovers. Strong running from the restarts provided tries for Giano (3), Trystan (2) and Richard (2), with Banbury winning 35-10. The second pool game against Henley was a strongly contested game. In the first half Henley soaked up Banbury pressure well with robust defence and energetic tagging, limiting Banbury to two tries while scoring 4 in return. In the second half Henley made the most of their chances and with more than their fair share of good luck managed to finish the game 35-10 winners.

Banbury met Oxford Quinns in the plate Semi-final. The first half was evenly contested, tries by Giano and Archie keeping Banbury in the game with the score 20-10 to Quinns at half time. Quins pulled way during the second half, running in a further 5 tries with some excellent running, passing and support play. Banbury worked hard and passed the ball well but some key decisions went against them and they were rewarded with only a single try by Tom, Quinns winning the game 45-15.

Banbury B finished top of their pool with two wins from two. Banbury were comfortable winners against Grove, tries by Ben C (4) Lucas (2) and Harry C providing a 35-15 victory. The second game against Witney was a very tight affair, Banbury trading tries with Witney through Ben and Jonty, before Harry C scored the winning try and the crowd roared, Banbury winning 15-10 in a magnificent game.

In the Cup semi-final Banbury played Henley. Banbury showed great effort in a tight game. Despite tries from Harry O, Ben C, Ben R and a hat-trick  from Jonty, Banbury narrowly lost 40-30, with two tries disallowed.
