Again this week we welcomed some new faces to our squad so we started off with an activity which we called 'the ice breaker'! This involved standing in a circle and telling each other our names and ages. We then split ourselves into age groups in order to familiarize ourselves with each other this benefits us as we bond with potential team mates and to learn each others names for when we are training or playing (calling for the ball). Much to our delight we then dived straight in to our contact warm ups and freshened up our skills on tackling when on the move. After some intense training, we took part in a tackle bag between the age group followed by training match which great fun. We all agreed, we enjoyed our training very much and happy to see some more new faces!
