Despite an improved performance than of late, United slip to their fifth consecutive league defeat with a 3-1 loss at Leamington

United got off to the worst of starts, going behind after just three minutes to a Liam Daly goal.

An equaliser came just after the half hour mark through a Ricky Johnson penalty but within two minutes Leamington had restored their one goal advantage through Jacob Blyth.

Banbury had some decent spells during the second half and the final ten minutes saw the home side under some pressure but they couldn't find an equaliser.

Then in the last minute of the game, Blyth, against the general run of play, scored his second of the game and Leamington's third.

Despite the defeat, due to other results going Banbury's way, they remain in 17th place and two points above the final relegation place.
