Dear club member as we approach the 2014/2015 season the teams are busy preparing for the battles ahead. As you are aware the club has had a transformation with major work taking place to improve the heating and hot water systems; work to improve the 1st XV changing room and Physio room is currently under way.

Now I need your help. With all this work going on around the club house it has created a bit of a mess, therefore I plan to have some Bull Nights (that’s military slang for a cleaning / odd jobs night) on the following dates, 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th, August 2014, starting each night at 19.00 hrs and finishing at 21.00 hrs. I will have a list of jobs for each night (including cleaning / painting / repairing) and am looking for volunteers to help out. So come and take charge of your own club, this is your chance to put your mark on the club house and grounds.

To ensure we have uniformity over the four weeks I have put a programme in place:

6th will be covered by the 1st XV team.

13th will be covered by the 2nd XV team.

20th will be covered by the 3rd XV team.

27th will be covered by the president’s men.

If any dates don’t suit you can come along to any session, don’t be left out.

Any ideas welcome, please think outside the box, example, my idea is to have a purpose built gym and training pool. Note dreams do come true - Italy tour, Party on the Pitch, etc., need I say more.
