The game was played with great spirit and enthusiasm from both teams with Malone running out the winners. Bangor worked hard and at times found the Malone girls just too quick however they pushed hard and were rewarded with a well earned try scored by Danielle.

With this being the girls first game and the fact that most are new to the game it was a very enjoyable game to watch. There were some great performances by Katie Thompson and Jessica Palmer who was lost early on to injury. The girls next fixture will be away to Ballynahinch RFC on Sunday the 29/1/17 to take part in a tournament there.
