Code of Conduct

Coaching and playing guidelines 2010/11 season

· Coaches decisions about playing and team selection, although not always agreed with should be respected.

· Parents should be aware that they all must get on the pitch to play at some point during the game. The coaches keep a record of game time for every child and strive to make sure they all get the same game time by the end of the season.

· Coaches are responsible for the players until they are returned to their parents at the end of a game or training.

· Parents are not to approach coaches or referees from either side about any grievance while match or training is in progress, as the coaches are responsible for all the players and not just individuals. Parents are welcome to approach coaches after training / match finished.

· If a player is unable to make training please contact one of the coaches so that the player can be put in contention for a place in the team on Sunday

· Players are to be dressed appropriately taking into consideration the weather conditions.

· Coaches will contact parents by text to let them know if training or games are off, could you please reply so that we know you have had the message. Could parents please reply to all other texts or messages or we will have to assume that you have not had the message and your child is not available for the game / training.

· Parents / spectators are urged to shout encouragement to our team during games, but we ask you not to shout negative comments when players make mistakes, (which they all will at some time) as this just disheartens the players and conflicts with what we as coaches are trying to achieve.
