As for the Bull, the story.........The Bull was built from chicken wire and papier mache at Hayley's fathers farm in Gelligaer. Brian Jeremiah was the Foreman of the Project and many a summer evening in 2008 was spent building, painting and eating takeways whilst discussing his size, colour and name. He was painted blue for the 2008 event before being re-painted orange as part of his work before ending up a lovely shade of pink at Aberaeron in 2009.
The idea came about when Neil Carter thought that it would be good to have a bull to support the Blue Bulls at the Aberaeron Sevens. As a result it was designed using a small plastic toy bull by chair designer Luke Palmer.
Although he's not yet two years old he has already been on HTV News at Aberaeron, and interviewed by Phil Steele on the Scrum V feature 'Behind the Scrum' on the radio.
For a number of months this year he moved up to London as part of a promotion for furntiture manufacturers Orangebox. He was re-painted orange and stood in a showroom window with a chair in Oxford Street in the centre of London, promoting the construction of enviromentally friendly furniture with the slogan 'No Green Bull' ..... that's straight up no bull !
