Mini's beat Parents for Children in Need 2012
Bargoed Mini's beat Bargoed Mams & Dads & raise £52.32 for Children in Need 2012.
Played on the astraturf pitch at Heolddu on Friday night, the Bargoed U7s, U8s & 9Us each played "Tag" games against the committed parent teams. The parents had to wear "wellies", to give the kids a chance.
Needless to say the Mini teams won 3 games with far superior ball-handling skills, committed tagging and better fitness. The allegations that the reffing (by the Mini coaches) was biased was not substantiated!!
Perhaps next year the mini's will have to wear the "wellies".
