Development squad victory.
Coventry RFC & Henley College continued their winning streak with a hard earned 28-7 win at KEGS Stourbridge College in the British Colleges Midland Cup.
The first half started at high intensity with second row Josh McNulty and full back
Luke Barber prominent in a one sided affair
An excellent break from centre Sam Brown up the right touchline saw him open the scoring as he outpaced the defence to score under the posts, converted by capt. Jack Howland.
After the break Stourbridge forced their way into the visitors 22 but excellent kicking from Howland relieved the pressure before England College prop Harry Smith scored
and Howland converted.
Brown was sin-binned but C&H defended well and this was rewarded when winger Ryan Coates went over after being put through a gap by Rhys Clarke, Howland again converting. Stourbridge hit back with a converted try but C&H replied from the restart when a loose kick was collected by flying winger Zac Whitehouse and he jinked his way through for an excellent individual try, converted by Howland.
Other Bakers Butts players not mentioned in the report include Rhys Smith and Joe Richardson
