New Tom Wood pictures at Barkers
Tom Wood and son Oliver at Barkers on Boxing Day, see the picture on the web site, nice one of Oliver in his Barkers Shirt, one for the future.
>One for the future - England star Tom Wood wasted no time introducing son Oliver to the Barkers' Butts pitch on Boxing Day. Oliver, approaching his 3rd birthday, looked every bit a chip of the old (Wood) block as he ran out in his new boots and kit - a treasured Xmas present from Santa. Both Oliver and Tom were "taped up" for the action before they ran out together on the same turf where Tom started his rugby journey as a toddler. For Tom it was like turning back the clock and a trip back down memory lane to the start of his own rugby journey. As a tot he was introduced to the same pitch by his dad, Andy, who was a former Barkers' club captain, and went on to play for Worcester and Northampton on his way to England honours. Proud grandad Andy was on hand to take this special picture for the Wood family album.
