On May 21, 2015, Barking Rugby Club will be organising a fund raising charity Golf Day at Toot Hill Golf and Country Club. Located between Abridge and Ongar, Essex. Money raised will be used to support our Youth and Senior sections and we will split the money raised 50/50 between those groups.
The winning team will be presented with the Alan Deighan Team Trophy. Alan passed away last year and was not only the Clubs' Treasurer and Accountant, but was also a very avid and strong supporter of the Club.
The winning team will have their teams' name etched onto the trophy and it will be on permanent display in the BRFC Club house. We will also have a winners board for this trophy in the Club house, as the Club would like to make this event a permanent feature in the club diary.

The Golf day will consist of the following:

Coffee and Bacon Roll on arrival.

A Team and Individual event over 18 holes of Golf

A Three course meal with coffee mid to late afternoon

Prizes for the Winning Team and Runner up

Prize for best Individual score

Nearest the Pin Prize

Longest Drive Prize

There will also be a raffle for various items donated by sponsors, members and supporters of Barking Rugby Football Club and we may also be having a closed bid auction on one or two items of potential interest/value donated by sponsors and other sources.

The Day will be restricted to 18 teams of 4 people at a cost per team of £240.

Generating income and cash flow is critical to Barking Rugby Club and your support on this fun day would be very much appreciated.

If you are interested in taking part in this event would you please contact me by email at john.f.fisk@hotmail.co.uk
Teams MUST be confirmed by the end of January 2014

Even if you can't make the event, a donation or a prize, in support of the event would be very much appreciated.

Yours truly,

John F Fisk
