Barkingside lost 2-1 at home to Sawbridgeworth Town, despite taking an early lead through Luke With's 14th goal of the season.
With put ‘Side ahead after six minutes as Gus Gulfer’s men enjoyed a dream start to the game.
Unfortunately they couldn’t increase their lead before the break as Town came back into the match.
The second-half started badly for ‘Side as two goals from the visitors turned the game on its head.
First Daryl Doolan equalised on 52 minutes before a screamer from Lewis Deamer just four minutes later put Sawbo ahead.
Things went from bad to worse as Jason Ajoodha was sent off after picking up two bookings in four minutes. The midfielder’s second yellow coming after he conceded a penalty.
Despite Jack Francis in goal saving the penalty, there was to be no comeback for ‘Side who fell to 13th place in the league table.
'Side are next back in action on Saturday when they face Enfield 1893 away.
