Side Claim First League Win
Barkingside won 1-0 away at Sporting Bengal United, finally earning their first league win of the season in the process.
The victory, our first after 21 league games, came thanks to Darnell Goather-Braithwaite's winner on 78 minutes, after a defensive mistake from Bengal.
It came after a good display from the team, and now means 'Side have won back-to-back games the first time this season, after our cup success away to Leyton Athletic in midweek.
Alex Goldstone's outfit are now 5 points behind 19th placed Leyton, with the team next being in action at home to Tower Hamlets on Tuesday 4th January. Kick-off for that match is at 7:45pm.
