Unfortunately, it was not to be as the 3rd XV narrowly lost to Harpenden in the Plate Final at Bishop's Stortford on Saturday.

A good win in the Plate Semi-Final at Hackney means that the 3rd XV goes forward to the Plate Final which will be held at Bishop's Stortford RFC.

Even though this was the Merit Table Plate Final Playoff, this win puts the 3rds into the Plate semi-finals away to Hackney on Saturday.

Last week, it was a waterlogged pitch that called off the Merit Table Plate match; this week, it was heavy snow that called off the Merit Table League match against Hertford.
