The Secure Trading 24/Sevens Series is the RFU’s National sevens competition for adult players. It comprises of 3 stages of competition, commencing with a local qualifying stage (Barnsley Local Qualifier), regional qualifying stage (Regional Final at West Park Leeds 30th June), concluding in the Secure Trading 24/Sevens National Finals which will be held at Bath Rec.

BARNSLEY LOCAL QUALIFIERS INFORMATION
Competitions to include:
1 Men’s and 1 Women’s Open Competition - Open to all eligible invitational and club sides who want to compete for the highest prize in amateur English Sevens.

This Year Barnsley RUFC will be entering 3 Men’s Teams & 1 Ladies Team into the Competitions – The WHITE KNIGHTS, YOU REDS & THE BLUE GRIFFS & Barnsley Ladies.

We encourage all the Barnsley RUFC family to get down and support the Men & Women in what will be an action packed day. 1st Kick Offs will be at 11am and the comp will finish approx. 4:30pm. The Pitch Side Bar will be open & food will be available all day.

The Comps will be a league structure ending in the top 2 moving into the cup finals and 3rd & 4th moving into the Plate finals. The Cup Final winners will progress to the regional finals at West Park Leeds.

Joining the Barnsley Teams in the competition will be:

Men’s - Fijian Marauders, Young Bucks & Kelham Island 7s
Women’s – Doncaster Demons, Rotherham Ladies & West Park Leeds Ladies

BARNSLEY SQUADS will be announced Friday so keep your eyes peeled!!
