We are delighted to announce that we have been able to secure Adam Bradley as our new senior lead coach following a thorough search over the past few weeks. Most recently Adam was the head coach at Hemsworth and guided them to an outstanding promotion in his first season. In his second season, promoted Hemsworth continued to improve under Adam and finished 5th in Yorkshire Three. Hemsworth were also runners up in the Yorkshire Vase which was described as an amazing final ending in a 15-15 draw and going to a golden point finish. Hemsworth also achieved 7 a side success while he was in charge.

Adam has a really impressive CV having spent his playing days professionally in both codes and brings a wealth of experience in his coaching. This includes previous success at Rotherham Titans, spending some four seasons in the Championship. He also had success when coaching Wath and most recently Hemsworth.

Head of coaching & rugby development, Mark Smith said “Adam was the first person I contacted when our senior lead coach role became available and it’s great news that he has agreed to join us and help us to continue to push forward as a club. He has a really good rugby pedigree and a great record as a coach. He is an ambitious coach and will bring a new energy and focus to our playing side. I know how tough a decision it's been for Adam to leave Hemsworth following the success he has enjoyed there but it’s great that he has seen the potential and facilities here at Shaw Lane.”

Pre-season training commences on Thursday 28th at 7pm with a brief players meeting followed by a field session led by Adam.
