After upsetting the form book to overcome league leaders Heanor Town on Saturday, the effort put in by the whole squad would be in vain if the Riversiders failed to follow up that performance by not collecting maximum points against ninth placed Holbrook Sports at home.
The Riversiders away form this season has been exceptional with 25 points gained from the available 30, but at Riverside Park it couldn't be any more different - with just five wins from the twelve fixtures to date.
This weekends game will be no pushover however, as the Derbyshire side arrive having lost just three games on their travels this season. The side has visited Leicestershire for each of the last two weekends, collecting maximum points against two sides who sit just above them in the table in Anstey Nomads and Thurnby Nirvana. Given that Holbrook also inflicted the Riversiders heaviest home defeat of the season last year with a 4-1 win, Barrow certainly know they are in for a tough game.
For the Riversiders, a number of players are likely to come back in to contention for the fixture. Dan Stabik, Ash White, Andy Tiday and Josh Stevenson could all be available following work commitments, though Connor Hardy will miss out following a minor operation. Naby Soumah Beny Doumbouya (pictured) is also unavailable after joining up with Guinean African Nations Cup shadow squad last week, whilst with no reserve team fixture for over three weeks, Jamie McKay has joined Harborough Town on a months loan to try and regain some much needed match fitness.
This weekends fixture kicks off at 3pm at Riverside Park.
