Thaker adds to Riverside ranks

Barrow Town have completed the signing of 21 year old midfielder Ross Thaker.

Thaker is a former Oldham Athletic trainee that was released at the age of 18 and has recently moved to the area. After leaving Boundary Park, the wideman spent time at Evo Stik League sides Witton Albion and Ashton United, before spending last season with Blue Square Premier side Altrincham FC.

Thaker made his debut yesterday as a 68th minute substitute against Thurnby Nirvana.
