Charity

Barry Town United is proud to be a patron of Edgar’s Gift; a charity set up in memory of inspirational 25-year old Ben Edkins, who passed away following a year-long fight with a rare and aggressive form of muscle cancer.

The charity, founded by Ben’s parents Julie and Neil Bradman (pictured with the club's Hannah Chesterfield and Ashley Cox) along with other family members and friends, works to raise money and provide special days out, unique experiences and luxury gifts for young adults (aged 18-30) who are suffering from cancer.

Barry's senior team have worn the charity's logo on their sleeves in all competitive matches since the start of the 2013-14 season and are proud to support Edgar's Gift and their tireless efforts.
