The 2015 Gary Lloyd Cup friendly was won 3-2 by Llanelli in a repeat of last season's match at neutral Bryntirion Park, Bridgend.

Barry had raced into an early lead at Bryntirion Park when Louis Feeley netted his first in Town colours and Gavin Chesterfield's men would double their advantage through a long-range Bobby Briers free-kick minutes later.

However, after a serious injury to Llanelli's Rhys Powell halted play for some time, the Reds (in blue) would rally to level things by the break, with goals from Bruno Faroukh and Luke Jones.

Lee Bevan then secured the win (and the trophy) for the West Walians with a second half header past Barry goalkeeper Dan Bradley.

All at the club would like to extend its best wishes to Rhys Powell for a speedy recovery, following what was diagnosed as a torn MCL.
