Dagenham and Redbridge's Christian Doidge will have left the happier of the pair, after helping his side to a 4-0 win against Adebayo Akinfenwa's AFC Wimbledon.

Doidge (pictured), a recent returnee from a spell on load with Dartford, was involved in the move that set up veteran Jamie Cureton's opener, before both men were substituted later in the match.

Wimbledon would never recover and the former Welsh Cup and Welsh Premier League double winner Akinfenwa was himself replaced with ten minutes to play.

However, despite the loss that put their play-off hopes in dire jeopardy, the fan-owned Wombles remain two points ahead of their League 2 rivals.
