Chris (pictured front row, one from the right) made 50 appearances for Barry in the 1987-88 season, scoring against Llanelli, Caerleon, Briton Ferry and Milford United and also helped the Town to South Wales Senior Cup Final success against previous club Cardiff City.

A full Welsh international, Chris achieved six consecutive appearances for his country while playing for Swansea City and would later turn out for Newport County after his Barry stint.
