The Welsh Cup, one of the oldest trophies in football, made a welcome return to Jenner Park today, stopping off en route to this weekend's final.

During its short time back in Barry (part of the FAW's #WelshCupTour), the trophy also visited the local Tenovus shop in Holton Road, with the cancer charity lending their backing to the competition for the duration of this campaign.

Tomorrow's Tenovus Welsh Cup Final, the 128th in the competition's history will commence at 2.30pm, with pre-match build-up and full live coverage of the match on S4C television and online services.

While Barry have won the grand old trophy on six separate occasions from 1955 to 2003, the 2015 showpiece will see Newtown (appearing in their first final since the late 1800s, no less) tackle Welsh Premier champions The New Saints; who will be seeking to complete a domestic treble with victory at Latham Park.
