Barry have confirmed a trio of friendlies for July; with Welsh Premier, Championship and English non-league opposition ahead.

After only four points separated them at the end of 2015-16, the Town will travel to Welsh Premier newcomers Cardiff Met on Saturday 16 July in the opening friendly of 2016-17.

Then, on Saturday 23 July, the club returns home as Barry entertain a Cardiff City XI at Jenner Park in a 3pm kick-off. This latest chapter between the sides will be the fifth in as many seasons, with information on tickets to follow shortly.

Finally, Barry's former championship-winning midfielder and manager Gary Barnett will return to Jenner Park on Saturday 30 July, as the Town entertain his Morton Rangers.

This match will be the first time the Town have hosted English opponents in over a decade - and a rematch of a July 2013 friendly in Gloucestershire. that Gavin Chesterfield's team won 1-0.

A number of other fixtures in the pre-season schedule will be confirmed in due course, with supporters encouraged to keep up-to-date via the club's Twitter and Facebook accounts.
