TOWN CRUISE THROUGH TO SENIOR TROPHY FINAL.

Town made it to the final of the County Senior Trophy last night, winning 9-1 at Appleby Frodingham on the back of a second half goal glut.

It took an early Appleby Frodingham goal to shake Town out of their lethargy, perhaps not entirely surprising given this was Barton's first game in nearly two weeks.
Ash Lattimore,in the mood to show everybody what they've been missing after four games out injured, quickly levelled before Gareth Owen put Town in front midway through the first half.
Although Town went on to create, and miss, any number of chances in the opening 45 minutes, " Frod " were not without moments themselves as the hosts battled gamely to get back on level terms.
The second half, however, was an entirely different ballgame as Town ran riot, netting seven more goals without reply.
Lattimore and Owen both added to their first half strikes, along with a quick-fire hat-trick from Gareth Barlow. Mike Gibson and Richard Medcalf, deservedly notching after creating at least three of the Old Boys' goals, made up the tally.
The game proved an ideal warm-up prior to Town's difficult trip to Thackley this Saturday as the Swans look to cement a top eight finish over the coming months.
TEAM: Bramley;Radley, Gibson ( Shilleto ), Dexter, Lamplough; Lattimore ( Barlow ), Bowsley ( M.Cooper ), Barnett, Buttle; Owen, Medcalf. Subs ( not used ) Spencer, Garth

well done lads. At times last night the passing and movement off the ball was brilliant, hope you can carry that form into the final.
Well done to Dave, Mally, Sid and Vinnie.
