Jimmy Ginnelly has been busy building his squad for the coming season.

Most of last year’s squad have now signed their forms for this campaign and are starting back in training to prepare for the pre season friendlies starting on the 14th July away at Leicester Nirvana.

Players signed so far are:
Kieron Brehon, Liam Castle, Ant Carney, Iyesden Christie, Jack Colley, Danny Gaunt, Brady Hickey, Nigel Julien, Richard Lavery, Eddy Nisevic, Kevin Thornton, Alex Tomkinson, Declan Towers, Jamie Towers, Callum Woodward.

New signings Kevin Thornton and Iyesden Christie are well known to non-league supporters and have both enjoyed great success with a number of clubs. They will both provide valuable experience to the squad and will certainly add plenty both on and off the field.

Notable absentees from last year are Jamie Hood and Danny Jenno who have both opted to ply their trade elsewhere.

Jamie Hood has returned to Leamington who we have drawn in the FA Trophy so we look forward to locking horns at that time. Jamie was a tower of strength at the back and has dominated the opposing attackers for two seasons.

Danny Jenno, last year’s Player of the Year, has returned to Coalville Town. He was influential in defence throughout the season and will be missed. However, he has chosen the “Path of the Raven” and will link up with former Canary Jamie McAteer at the back of the Coalville defence.
