With games against Kidsgrove Athletic, Brigg Town, Newcastle Town, Carlton Town and Glapwell in the near future, the battle at the top of the table will be hard fought as the chasing pack close in on the League leaders and challenge for the play off places.
There are currently six points separating Barwell from Kidsgrove and Brigg with Barwell having games in hand.
Next Tuesday’s game at Kirkby Road is likely to be one of the best with Kidsgrove Athletic visiting the home of the Canaries and out for revenge for the two – nil reverse they suffered a few weeks ago.
Jimmy Ginnelly has moved swiftly to strengthen the squad following recent injuries and suspensions and also looks to welcome back a number of key players in the next week.
Goalkeeper Richard Morris, formerly of Leamington, has joined from Stratford Town and Ryan Scott, formerly of Aldershot Town has joined from Atherstone Town to bolster up the midfield.
