The Canaries fought back excellently from a poor first-half showing to pick up a point at Keys Park, with Luke Barlone heading home the equaliser on the hour mark.

Barwell's boss used the half-time interval to make adjustments heading into the final 45 minutes, where he felt the side could have potentially won the match.

He said: "It was a complete game of two halves.

"I'm at a loss as to where my team's first-half performance was. We didn't have a single good player on the pitch and the only saving grace was we were only losing by one goal.

"We had a lot of harsh words and home truths at half-time and decided to change the system.

"We moved a few bodies around- forcing them to change their shape and style- which caused them a lot of problems.

"Once we got onto the front foot, we could have gone on to win the game".

Barlone's goal was his first since the victory over Skelmersdale United in early December.

The frontman powered his header into the top corner from Owen Story's looping cross on the byline.

Ginnelly believes the striker is a bit of an unsung hero, having worked tirelessly in recent matches where others have reaped the rewards of his efforts.

"It was a great goal," admitted the Barwell boss.

"It's proof that we need to provide better service for our front two because they will take their chances.

"Pellet (Luke Barlone) has always been good with his head and deserved his goal because his work-rate was second to none in the second-half".
