One could view no game this Saturday as deterimental but United are viewing this as a positive with the 1st team being called in for a light training session. Given the excursions of Tuesdays taxing game on a heavy pitch then an extended recuperation time before Saturday weeks big home game against Pinxton is not a bad thing. The delay will also allow United the chance to get playmaker Darren Garmston some much needed physio to deal with a trapped nerve. The same applies to Cashel Walters who has a niggling back complaint that we cannot risk his absence when completing his Sunday suspension in a couple of weeks. United managers Daz Saunders also expect to be active in the transfer market over the next days and expect 1 or 2 defensive signings given we are down to bare bones due to the departure of fringe players and it may be we look to bring in loan signing. United do hope to complete the permanent signing of a player who has been a target of our club now for quite a considerable time, and if completed it will mark a great signing for the run in.
