Basford United Football Club

A target of the club for many a month Danny Boyes has joined the club in the capacity of overall General Manager. Danny has a wealth of experience and contacts that can only be of benefit to 1st team managers Daz Saunders and Russ Best. Dannys brief is to support the two managers as and when required, as well as being the face of the club in communications to the local press, Danny also will assist in bringing 2 or 3 players to the club working closely with the two managers on selected targets. Danny also has excellent iniatives to bring in revenue into the club.

Also delighted to report that Mike Bailey will become the Commercial manager for the club as well as midweek Under 19 secretary. Mike,s major project will be working closely with Chris to develop the facility.
The major area will be the project to replace the existing Pavillion with a new one and we have no better man than Mike to push this exciting project forward.

Delighted to welcome both on board and in the next week we do expect more additions as the club builds its backroom infrastructure.

The club are making excellent progress securing prestigious friendlies for this preseason and so far we have secured;

With potential visits to Louth and home games against Grantham, Rainworth still to be finalised.
