Under 19s look impressive
Basford Under 19s won 5-0 last night at home to Sheffield Hallam in a preseason friendly.
Hallam played in the league above our lads so it does bode well for the future that Basford put on a good show.
Wayne Scott and Steve Hawley utilised 20 players last night and will be well pleased with how the night went on the superb surface at Basford.
The Under 19s are next in action on Thursday week when they travel to Pinxton for another pre season friendly.
Basford start the season on Monday 10th Sept with a league cup local derby tie against Arnold Town Under 19s.
