Formed out of the ashes of the ex league club Rushden & Diamonds the team were reformed & accepted into the United Counties league division 1 which is on a comparative step to ourselves. AFC like ourselves have got off to a fine start this campaign and are yet to lose a league game so this no doubt signals what a very tough tie this will be. Maintaining a fan base we would suspect from the old club they attract 4 figure attendances so a great opportunity for our lads to play in front of a big crowd.
